I have organized and traveled on several pilgrimages, but never one on a cruise. After just completing a Danube Cruise pilgrimage, I am sold! It was a wonderful way to experience the rich Catholic history and scenic streets of cities like Regensburg, Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest. We celebrated Masses in stunning churches and had a fantastic guide to lead us through the journey. With a cruise, you don’t “hotel hop” and there is always time to relax and unwind. The ship staff was highly professional, the rooms were much nicer than expected, and the food was top-notch. I would do this again in a heartbeat and have added it to my pilgrimage offerings.
